Job summary

We Are Workforce Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover the Yeovil area. You will service, maintain and repair construction equipment at customer sites, ensuring machines operate safely and reliably. Report to Cardiff Depot and manage your own workload with support from Service, Parts and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
• Experience working on heavy plant or construction equipment.
• Strong knowledge of engines, hydraulics, transmissions and auto-electrics.
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Good communication and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend machine breakdowns and carry out repairs to minimise downtime.
• Complete planned servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe, clean and professional working environment.
• Undertake other duties appropriate to the role as required.

Reporting to our Cardiff Depot, you'll service, maintain and repair construction equipment at customer sites, ensuring machines remain safe, reliable and operating at peak performance. You'll manage your own workload while being supported by our experienced Service, Parts and Operations teams.
