Job summary

Pertemps Black Country Perms is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and repair specialist vacuum and atmosphere furnaces. You will travel across the UK and Ireland, with potential worldwide travel, and training is provided for those without furnace experience.

The role focuses on fault-finding, repair of industrial furnaces, and providing technical service reports, with a base salary of £35,000-£40,000 plus overtime and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
• Experience with industrial machinery or plant.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Electrical knowledge or furnace experience is advantageous, but not essential.

Due to continued growth, they're looking for a Mechanical Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and repair specialist vacuum and atmosphere furnaces.

No furnace experience? No problem! If you've got strong mechanical engineering skills, training can be provided.

The Role

• Install, service and repair industrial furnaces.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out maintenance.
