Job summary

Advance TRS is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support planned and reactive maintenance across railway stations from Newbury to London. You will be responsible for fault-finding and maintenance on SISS including CCTV, PA, CIS, access control, and network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have experience in electronic security or IP networks, strong fault-finding skills, and a full UK driving licence. Rail experience is desirable but not essential; a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic security, fire alarms, communications, or IP networked systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role, although generally you’ll work in a pair.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Rail experience desirable but not essential.

Our client is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to support planned and reactive maintenance activities across railway stations between Newbury and London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and fault-finding on a range of Station Information and Security Systems (SISS), including:

• CCTV
• Public Address (PA) Systems
• Customer Information Systems (CIS
• Access Control
• Structured Cabling
• Network Infrastructure

Requirements:

• Experience with electronic security, fire alarms, communications, or IP networked systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role, although generally you’ll work in a pair
