Job summary

Hunter Selection is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to cover Southeast England, ideally based in Reading or nearby areas. Salary £35,000 - £42,000 with OTE £50,000+.

You will service a range of equipment, predominantly dock levellers and loading bay systems, providing fault-finding, maintenance and on-site support. The role includes installations support, occasional on-call duties, and potential involvement in spare parts sales to drive service growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or other relevant electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Strong mechanical or electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with lifting equipment or similar (desirable).
• Welding experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and mechanical support, predominantly on dock levellers and specialist loading bay equipment.
• Assist with installations when necessary.
• Participate in an occasional on-call rota and responsibly manage company tools, vehicle, and stock.
• Promote sales of maintenance services and equipment, including spare parts, and advise sales department of possible sales leads.

Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 - OTE - £50,000+
