TipTopJob in Oxford is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Mechanic/Vehicle/Forklifts) to service a range of forklifts, HGVs and related equipment from a home base, carrying out PPM and breakdowns within about an hour of home.

The role offers a fully expensed Ford Transit Custom van, fuel card, overtime at 1.5x and 2.0x, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, training and IT gear; salary up to £37k–£42k depending on shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience on plant, forklifts, HGV or similar equipment.
• Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service basis.
• Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery.
• Spare parts stocked in van overnight.

Field Service Engineer role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks offering full training.

The Field Service Engineer role will be suitable for candidates who have worked on cars, plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. If you are a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic looking for a change of industry and like the idea of being mobile role this role could really appeal.

Part of a team, youll be based from home carrying out PPM and breakdown on a range of forklifts, typically an hour maximum from your home location. No stay away or extensive travel is required. Overtime is available if desired mostly in the week.
