Job summary

Demob Job Ltd is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to travel to customer sites across Durham and surrounding areas to service, maintain and repair bespoke equipment.

You will undertake offshore weeks with additional payments and hold a full UK driving licence. The role includes company vehicle access, funded training and a supportive team environment.

This is a hands-on engineering position suitable for a proactive engineer who can work independently and as part of a field service team.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with an electrical discipline.
• Proven experience servicing, maintaining, repairing and installing equipment.
• Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Willing to work at heights.
• Able to work on own initiative and in a team.
• Flexible - willing to stay away from home overnight.
• IT literate.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to service, maintain and repair equipment.
• Cover UK-wide locations including offshore weeks with additional payments.
• Operate with a flexible schedule and offshore rotations as required.

Job description

Our client is a specialist manufacturer of bespoke equipment. They install, service and maintain their own equipment throughout the UK and offshore. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join their team in and around Durham and surrounding areas.

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for travelling to customer sites carrying out the service, maintenance and repair of the company products and equipment. This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer to join a leading global company who are willing to fund all relevant training to support you with your new career.

Please note flexibility is required, as you will be required to travel with regular overnight stays, including weeks offshore (additional payments for working offshore).

Field Service Engineer Requirements:

• You will be a qualified engineer with an electrical discipline.
• Proven experience of carrying out equipment service, maintenance, repairs, and installations.
• Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Happy working at heights.
• Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
• Flexible approach - able to stay away from home overnight.
• IT literate.
• Hold full UK driving licence.

Field Service Engineer Benefits:
