Job summary

Astute People's Power Team is partnering with a global specialist in electrical power control and critical power solutions to recruit a Field Engineer. You will install, commission and maintain UPS, energy storage and other critical power systems at client sites, diagnosing issues to keep operations running.

You will collaborate with clients to tailor solutions, ensure safety and quality standards, and deliver reliable performance in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Strong background in electrical or electronic engineering.
• Engineering education in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in field service, critical power or data centre environments.
• Hands-on expertise in UPS systems, power electronics or similar technologies.
• Proactive problem-solving with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities and duties of the Field Engineer role

As a Field Engineer, you will:

• Perform installation, commissioning and maintenance of the company's electrical and power systems, including UPS, energy storage and critical power solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with clients to provide tailored solutions that meet their specific needs.
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards while exceeding performance benchmarks.

Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following qualifications and experience

• A strong background in electrical or electronic engineering.
• An engineering education in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in field service, critical power or data centre environments.
• Hands-on expertise in UPS systems, power electronics or similar technologies.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A valid driver's licence.
• An unrestricted right to work in the country where the role is based, as visa sponsorship is not available.
