Job summary

Socomec is seeking a Field Engineer to install, commission and maintain electrical and power systems including UPS and energy storage. You will diagnose issues, collaborate with clients to tailor solutions, and uphold safety and quality standards in a demanding environment.

The role requires a strong electrical/electronic engineering background, field service experience, and a valid driver’s license. UK-based site work with comprehensive benefits and training opportunities are offered.

The Role

As a Field Engineer, you will:

• Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Socomec’s electrical and power systems, including UPS, energy storage, and critical power solutions
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence
• Collaborate with clients to provide tailored solutions that meet their specific needs
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards while exceeding performance benchmarks

• A strong background in electrical or electronic engineering
• Engineering education in Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience in field service, critical power, or data centre environments
• Hands-on expertise in UPS systems, power electronics, or similar technologies
• A proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and customer service skills
• A valid driver’s license
