Job summary

Permanent Futures Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our growing engineering team covering the South of England. This is an electrically qualified, field-based role with outstanding earning potential, a fully expensed company vehicle, fuel card, and paid door-to-door travel.

The work is varied across installation, commissioning, service and fault-finding on specialist electrical equipment. You will carry out site surveys, provide technical support ahead of installations and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation, Maintenance, or related discipline.
• 17th or 18th Edition qualification.
• Previous field service/installation/maintenance/commissioning experience.
• Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
• Regular travel to customer sites with a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service specialist electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults on customer equipment.
• Carry out electrical testing, wiring and commissioning in live environments.
• Conduct site surveys and provide technical support ahead of installations.
• Complete preventative maintenance and reactive service visits.
• Produce service documentation and reports after site visits.
