Job summary

Bowdon Associates Limited is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to cover London and surrounding areas. You will service, repair and maintain cleaning equipment in the field, diagnosing faults and documenting reports. The role requires independence, good IT skills and a willingness to travel, with a company van provided and potential for overtime.

The position offers London weighting and a structured training programme, with ongoing professional development and a discretionary year-end bonus.

Qualifications

• Strong experience across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic or diesel equipment.
• Background in municipal, FLT, plant hire, HGV or similar industries (ideal).
• Confident diagnosing complex faults and working independently in the field.
• Able to manage your own workload and take responsibility for your area.
• Good IT skills and experience completing service reports.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
• Passport (preferred for possible training in Germany).

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of your area, ensuring service standards and performance are met.

Our client are a leading manufacturer of industrial cleaning equipment, with plans to expand the business further this has presented an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Field Service Engineer to join the business covering South London and the surrounding areas.
