Field Service Engineer (Energy / Battery / Batteries)

Location: Manchester - North West

Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 (Flexible DOE) + Company Vehicle + Private Healthcare

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 Hours per Week

Overview:
Field Service Engineer required for a leading specialist in battery energy storage systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company during a time of expansion. The company is committed to the ongoing development of their staff and can provide internal and external training.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance of battery energy storage systems
2. Inspections, annual capacity tests, troubleshooting, and repairs
3. Software and firmware upgrades
4. Provide remote diagnostics and support
5. Management of spare parts
6. Typically working within a 2-hour radius of Manchester; however, further travel and occasional stay away may be required

Candidate Requirements:

1. Electrically biased or multiskilled engineer
2. Hold a relevant engineering qualification
3. Ideally hold experience working with inverters, converters, or transformers
