Field Service Engineer - Generators and Compressors - London - South West, West, North West, North

Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00, 42 hours per week plus overtime

On-Call Payments:

• Monday to Friday: £50 per day
• Bank Holidays & Christmas Week: Additional payments apply

Are you a skilled Field Service Engineer with a strong mechanical background in diesel engines, fault diagnosis, and repair? We want to hear from you!

Covering multiple sites across a geographical patch, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of generators ranging from 20 – 1400 kva, many fitted with telematics and fully syncable using Comap or Depp sea panels.

Responsibilities:

1. Travel to customer sites to carry out planned service, maintenance, and repair of compressors and generators (20 – 1400 kva).
2. Fault-finding, replacing parts, effecting repairs, and diagnosing mechanical failures.
3. Liaise with external departments and customers.
4. Service, fault find, and carry out breakdown repairs.
5. Comply with company Health and Safety policies.

Requirements:

• Full driving license.
• Mechanical experience in fault-finding, parts replacement, and repairs.
• Experience maintaining and repairing similar equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and as part of a team.
• Flexible hours to accommodate overtime.
