Job summary

Culligan UK Limited is seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer to join our service team. You will service water treatment systems at customers' sites, perform routine maintenance, diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure optimum performance.

You'll travel to client locations, maintain records, and deliver outstanding customer service. A full driving licence and practical DIY skills are essential; full training is provided with opportunities for progression and professional development.

Qualifications

• Full, valid UK driving licence (max 6 points) is required.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems.
• Handle installation and troubleshooting at clients' locations.
• Oversee service schedules to minimise downtime for customers.
• Keep precise records of service visits and reports.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and deliver excellent service.
• Weekly visits to Service Centre to replenish parts and supplies.

Hours of Work

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Core Role & Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on water treatment systems.
• Handle the installation and troubleshooting of equipment directly at clients' locations.
• Efficiently oversee service schedules to reduce downtime for our customers.
• Keep precise records of service visits and communicate any issues or suggestions.
• Engage with customers to grasp their needs and deliver outstanding customer service
• Weekly visits to the designated Service Centre to replenish parts and supplies.

• Proven experience in plumbing or electrical fields preferred, but full training will be provided.
• A full and valid driving license with a maximum of 6 points.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Strong DIY skills and experience using power tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
