Job summary

Dawsongroup Material Handling is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to service, diagnose and repair forklift trucks at customer sites across South East London and Essex. You will work independently, delivering a high standard of service.

You'll diagnose, repair and service forklift trucks safely, inspect equipment, report on condition and parts used, maintain tools and vehicle, and build strong customer relationships while representing Dawsongroup professionally.

Qualifications

• Fully skilled engineer with relevant material handling experience.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently, safely and to a high standard.

You’ll bring strong mechanical knowledge of material handling equipment and the ability to work confidently across diesel, LPG, hydraulic and electronic systems. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well and can operate independently while maintaining high standards of safety and care.
