Job summary

NEOS Engineering are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to cover Grantham and surrounding areas. You will service, maintain and repair a range of specialist equipment at customer sites, helping to minimise downtime and keep machinery operating efficiently.

You will work independently, using strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose hydraulic and electrical faults. A full UK driving licence is essential, and overtime is available to reflect time on the road and at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and safety checks.

Field Service Engineer – Grantham & Surrounding Areas
£33,280 – £37,440 + Overtime
40 Hours Per Week | Permanent

NEOS Engineering are recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover Grantham and the surrounding areas for an established specialist equipment business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working independently, visiting customer sites and solving technical problems in the field.

The Role

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of specialist equipment at customer locations, helping to minimise downtime and keep machinery operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to carry out servicing and repairs
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Complete planned preventative maintenance
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs

About You

• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Plant Engineer or similar
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge
• Good hydraulic fault-finding ability
• Electrical/diagnostic experience
• Experience working on plant, construction, agricultural or specialist equipment
• Comfortable working independently
• Full UK driving licence

• £33,280 – £37,440 basic salary
