NEOS Engineering in Croydon is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to service, repair and maintain specialist equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose faults, carry out maintenance and work independently on a varied equipment base.

The role offers a permanent, 40-hour week with overtime opportunities and a competitive basic salary (£33,280 – £37,440) plus commission potential and a company van with a fuel card.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Field Service Engineer or similar.
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Proficient in hydraulic fault-finding.
• Electrical/diagnostic experience.
• Experience with plant, construction or specialist equipment.
• Able to work independently.
• Holder of a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Field Service Engineer – Croydon

NEOS Engineering are recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover Grantham and the surrounding areas for an established specialist equipment business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working independently, visiting customer sites and solving technical problems in the field.

The Role

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of specialist equipment at customer locations, helping to minimise downtime and keep machinery operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to carry out servicing and repairs
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Complete planned preventative maintenance
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out repairs
• Carry out inspections and safety checks
• Complete service reports and maintenance records
• Build strong relationships with customers

About You

• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Plant Engineer or similar
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge

• Comfortable working independently
• Full UK driving licence
