Job summary

Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd is hiring a Field Service Engineer to join their Exeter-based team. You will service and maintain MOT and garage equipment, with full product training provided and opportunities for progression.

The role covers regional travel around the Exeter area with no overnight stays required, and offers a base salary of £30,000–£33,000 plus overtime (OTE £45,000), training, progression and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Good mechanical engineering knowledge of machinery and industrial equipment.
• Experience as a mechanical fitter/technician or field service engineer (garage equipment) preferred.
• Ex-forces engineers welcome.
• Willing to travel regionally around Exeter area.

Your Role As Field Service Engineer Will Include:

• Field service engineer role - Full product training given
• Mechanical servicing of MOT equipment / Garage equipment
• Complete maintenance and servicing of machinery - hydraulics / lifting equipment / mechanical fitting / bearings and more.
• Regional cover field service engineer role - No stay away required!

As the Successful Field Service Engineer You'll Have:

• Good mechanical engineering knowledge and skills - machinery / industrial
• Background as a mechanical fitter / mechanic / Garage Equipment / field service engineer / technician (or similar)

• Live around the Exeter Area and be willing to travel as a field service engineer
