Job summary

Zip Water seeks an enthusiastic Field Engineer to work in our field services team across the UK. You will work independently, diagnose faults, and deliver high-quality service to customers, while representing the Zip Water brand on site.

An induction programme will equip you with product knowledge and best practices. Experience in repairs and fault finding is valuable; a plumbing or electrical qualification and a UK driving license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in repairs and fault finding.
• Face-to-face customer service experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new products and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver field service in customer locations, ensuring world-class experience.
• Achieve high first-time fix rate with Zip products and HydroCare services.

Experience as a Field Engineer is not essential; we will provide internal training to successful candidates with technical understanding and a background focused on repairs and fault finding to become expert Zip Water engineers.

• Dedicated 6-week City & Guilds assured induction programme and continued on-job training to give you the skills and knowledge to allow you to achieve your goals.
• Promote Zip products and HydroCare services by using your knowledge whilst on site to recommend and advise customers on the best solution to solve their hydration requirements
• Focused to achieve industry leading first time fix rate through the repair and service of all Zip products, in a timely manner, whilst adhering to all technical and health and safety requirements.
• Complete administration procedures in line with business requirements

Skills

• Technical understanding and a background focused on repairs and fault finding
• A natural problem solver with great attention to detail, essential to remain up to date and ensure processes are followed for example replenishment of parts stocked
• Face-to-face Customer Service experience, and an ability to promote and sell, desirable but not essential
• Plumbing or electrical qualification
• UK Driving license
• Previous experience of fault diagnostics
• Open to new ways of working whilst embracing exciting new products, services and technology as we grow and develop it.
