TalentTech Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer for daytime service of commercial refrigeration equipment in Crawley and surrounding Kent & Sussex areas. The role includes installation, repair and training on fridges, display cabinets, coolers, chillers, ice machines and ice-cream machines.

You will use your F-Gas qualification daily, demonstrate electrical competence, hold a full UK driving licence and have the right to work in the UK.

• Must hold a refrigerant handling qualification such as 2079 or 2078 (F‑Gas).
• Field service experience is preferable but not essential.
• Be personable and professional on client sites.
• Be electrically competent.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Service, install, repair and train on commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Examples include fridges, display cabinets, coolers, chillers, ice machines and ice-cream machines.
• Utilise F‑Gas qualification daily and apply basic electrical and mechanical problem‑solving.
• Daytime role with ~40 hours per week and 1‑in‑4 weekend call-outs.
• Overtime and time off in lieu (bank holidays optional).

Our client is looking for somebody who is F-gas qualified and ultimately seeking an easier way of life on smaller pieces of equipment.

Your Role as a Field Service Engineer:

• As a field service engineer you will be servicing, installing, repairing and providing training on a range of specialist commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Examples include fridges, display cabinets, coolers, chillers, ice machines, and ice-cream machines.
• Utilising your F-Gas qualification on a daily basis, this will also test your basic electrical and mechanical problem-solving skills.
• A daytime only role with no overnights or evening work, typically 40 hours per week
• 1-in-4 call out rota for weekends; days only.
• Option to work bank holidays for overtime AND time off in lieu.
