Job summary

NEOS Engineering in Cambridge is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair heavy construction machinery across Cambridgeshire. A company van is provided with door-to-door overtime potential and excellent benefits.

The role involves diagnosing hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults, performing planned servicing and breakdown repairs, and delivering top-quality customer service on site while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing heavy construction plant.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with OEM equipment advantageous.

Field Service Engineer

Cambridge

£18.00 - £21.00 per hour + Company Van + Door-to-Door Overtime + Excellent Benefits

NEOS Engineering are working with a leading heavy plant dealership that is looking to appoint an experienced Field Service Engineer to support customers throughout Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas.

The Role

You'll carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a variety of heavy construction plant, ensuring customers' equipment remains safe, reliable and operational.

Working from a fully equipped company van, you'll manage planned maintenance and breakdowns across your designated area while being supported by an experienced service team.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair heavy construction machinery.
• Diagnose hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults.
• Carry out planned servicing and emergency breakdown repairs.
• Complete inspection reports and service documentation.
• Deliver excellent customer service on site.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.

The Candidate

Suitable candidates will have experience working on machinery such as:

• Excavators
• Wheel Loaders
• Dumpers
• Telehandlers
• Rollers
• Dozers
• Loading Shovels
• General Construction Plant

Experience with OEMs including CAT, Komatsu, JCB, Volvo CE, Hitachi, Develon, Doosan, Hyundai, Liebherr, SANY, Kubota or Takeuchi would be advantageous.
