Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd has partnered with a market-leading materials handling company to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer. You will service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and MHE across customer sites within your local area, with fault finding and diagnostics, and planned maintenance as well as breakdown repairs.

You will be supported by a strong back-office team and benefit from ongoing manufacturer training, with the autonomy to manage your workload and diary.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on servicing or maintenance experience.
• Maintenance experience with forklift trucks, mobile plant machinery, HGVs or industrial vehicles.
• Hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical and hydraulics.
• Recognised engineering qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Previously have worked as a Field Service Engineer.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and MHE across customer sites in the local area.
• Fault finding, diagnostics, planned maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Organise your own workload and diary with support from a technical back-office team.

Job Title - Field Service Engineer

Location - Covering TA Postcodes (Somerset)

Salary: £32,000 - £42,500 (Depending on Experience and Hours)

Shift:Monday to Friday - 40 Hour or 45 Hour Week available

Job Role:I'm working with a market-leading materials handling business that's looking to add an experienced Field Service Engineer to its growing team. This role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of MHE across customer sites within your local area.As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for fault finding, diagnostics, planned maintenance and breakdown repairs, with the autonomy to organise your own workload and diary. You'll be fully supported by a strong technical back-office team and benefit from ongoing manufacturer training and development, ensuring you stay up to date with the latest equipment and technologies.

Sector - Field Service Maintenance

• Non-Negotiable Requirements of Field Service Engineer: Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience
• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.
