Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover the M5 Corridor (Exeter, Taunton, Wellington, Bridgewater and Highbridge areas). The role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklift trucks and MHE at customer sites, with autonomy to plan your workload and diary.

You will receive ongoing manufacturer training, with a strong back-office support structure. A full UK driving license is essential, and the position offers training, overtime, and a company pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience.
• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands-on experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Previously have worked as a Field Service Engineer.
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown repairs on forklift trucks and MHE.
• Perform planned maintenance and servicing across customer sites.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and implement fixes.
• Plan and organise own workload and diary.
• Work with back-office team for support and training.

Job Title - Field Service Engineer

Location - Covering M5 Corridor (Exeter, Taunton, Wellington, Bridgewater and Highbridge areas)

Salary: £32,000 - £42,500 (Depending on Experience and Hours)

Shift: Monday to Friday - 40 Hour or 45 Hour Week available

Job Role:

I'm working with a market-leading materials handling business that's looking to add an experienced Field Service Engineer to its growing team. This role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of MHE across customer sites within your local area. As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for fault finding, diagnostics, planned maintenance and breakdown repairs, with the autonomy to organise your own workload and diary. You'll be fully supported by a strong technical back-office team and benefit from ongoing manufacturer training and development, ensuring you stay up to date with the latest equipment and technologies.

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience
