Job summary

Cooper Lomaz Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a world-leading manufacturer of precision digital cutting systems. You will travel UK sites to install, commission, service and maintain high-value machinery, delivering responsive technical support.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical skills, CAD knowledge, and a clean driving licence. Monday to Friday with travel, on-site induction at head office, and ongoing support from a peer to ensure top service.

Qualifications

• Education: BEng, HND, HNC or relevant industry experience.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience with large mechanical/digital machinery.
• CAD or graphics software knowledge advantageous.
• Clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Visit sites across the UK to support company machinery.
• Provide mechanical support, troubleshoot and perform repairs.
• Install, move, service and decommission equipment as required.
• Provide telephone support where appropriate.

Field Service Engineer

Location: Berkshire / Oxfordshire / Northamptonshire region.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Field Service Engineer to join a world-leading manufacturer of precision digital cutting systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, commissioning, servicing and maintaining high-value capital equipment at customer sites across the UK, delivering first-class technical support and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Visiting sites across the UK to support company machinery
• Providing mechanical support at client sites, troubleshoot, repairs
• Installation of new equipment, moving machines, services and decommission
• Provide telephone support where appropriate

Key Skills

• Education: BEng, HND, HNC or relevant industry experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience in large mechanical/digital machinery
• Analytical, organized
• Computer literateCAD or graphics software knowledge advantageous
• Clean driving license

Experience Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar field service role
• Background in engineering, particularly in equipment installation and maintenance

Desired Skills

• Formal qualification in engineering (HNC, HND, BEng, or equivalent) is preferred but not essential if balanced by strong experience
• Experience in a similar role, particularly with high-value technical equipment

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for travel and customer support needs
• Initially you will be on-site at the UK Head office for induction and product training for a minimum of 1-2 weeks
• You will continue to receive support with a colleague for at least 4-6 months to ensure you can deliver the best service to all your customers as part of this world leading company
