Job summary

Intertek Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Sampler Technician to collect petroleum and chemical samples from processing stages, both on-site and at client facilities, using approved techniques. You will drive to client sites, perform sampling, and support our Cargo Inspectors.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid, clean UK driving license.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willing to learn about sampling and laboratory operations/standards for Petroleum products.
• Full training provided to the right candidate.
• Ability to thrive in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out sampling using approved techniques as directed.
• Carry out testing of required samples using approved techniques as directed.
• Travel to and from client/Intertek facilities and transport samples in compliance with road regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle condition sheets.
• Complete fleet sample collection logs.
• Assist in maintaining sample retention stores in good working order.
