Job summary

Affinity Personnel is recruiting a Field-Based Card Payment Specialist covering the Plymouth PL and TR postcodes and surrounding areas. You will work on face-to-face B2B sales, closing merchant accounts and building a strong regional pipeline.

This high-reward, autonomous role provides pre-qualified appointments and uncapped earnings based on performance, with a base salary of £50,000 plus a £6,000 car allowance and an OTE of £95,000. Top performers earned £200,000+ last year.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-booked, qualified appointments with small and medium-sized businesses
• Supplement your diary through self-generated leads, including in-field prospecting and cold calling where required
• Qualify, pitch, and close new merchant accounts independently
• Sell modern, broadband-enabled, contactless card payment solutions with competitive, capped terminal rental pricing
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of high-potential merchants within your territory
• Deliver professional, consultative sales presentations tailored to each business
• Consistently achieve weekly and monthly sales targets, typically 5+ terminals per week

• Comfortable with face-to-face B2B sales and building rapport quickly

• Target-driven, organised, and resilient
• Confident handling objections and generating referrals
• Full UK driving licence required
