Job summary
Glen Callum Associates Ltd is seeking an Area Sales Manager to cover Cambridge, Milton Keynes and nearby areas for industrial and automotive consumables. The role emphasises new business development, territory growth and strong customer relationships.
The package includes a basic £30K with OTE £40K, quarterly bonus, company car, fuel card, mobile phone, laptop, 32 days holiday and pension, plus a fully remote role with no weekends.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in field sales or business development.
- Experience selling industrial, manufacturing or automotive consumables.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness and a results-driven approach.
- Experience with CRM systems and full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business and grow existing customer accounts.
- Achieve territory sales targets through regular customer visits.
- Promote a wide range of industrial consumables and provide product recommendations.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and deliver excellent customer service.
- Manage territory using CRM and market insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams and represent the company at meetings/events.
