Job summary

Hayley Group is seeking an External Sales Executive for our Sheffield Branch. This full-time, 40-hour role involves extensive field sales across South Yorkshire and NE Derbyshire, targeting new customers while managing existing accounts.

You’ll drive growth with a proactive, autonomous approach and a strong focus on delivering excellent service. You’ll be out on the road, building relationships, cold calling new prospects, and leveraging product knowledge in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven external sales experience, preferably in engineering/manufacturing
• Strong motivation to drive sales and achieve targets
• Confident communicator, comfortable cold calling cross industry
• Able to work with minimal supervision and deliver results
• Good IT skills and experience with common business systems
• Experience managing existing customers and developing new ones

Responsibilities

• Sell and grow external accounts across South Yorkshire and NE Derbyshire
• Develop new business opportunities and win new customers
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and provide after-sales support
• Negotiate terms, quotes and orders to meet targets
• Utilise company resources and Hayley Academy training to improve performance
• Travel regularly to customer sites and maintain accurate records in the CRM
