Job summary

Sysco GB in the UK is recruiting a Field Sales Consultant to join the Pub Team covering Reading, Gloucester, Oxford and Southampton. You will drive new business with leased and tenanted pubs while caring for a handful of key accounts.

You will win new leased and tenanted customers, retain and grow existing accounts, and work with telephone account managers to manage leads. You will spot opportunities with Pub Co area managers and implement territory plans set by your line manager.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing customers – face to face or over the telephone.
• Demonstrable knowledge of retention and growth of accounts.
• Target driven with proven experience of achieving targets.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint to plan effectively and maximise selling time.

Responsibilities

• Win new leased & tenanted customers for Brakes ensuring that they adhere to the minimum spend criteria.
• Retain & grow existing key customers.
• Build strong relationships with telephone account managers to manage leads.
• Proactively work with Pub Co area managers to uncover new opportunities.
• Identify innovations to the L&T deal to cement Brakes’ position in the UK.
• Implement strategic territory plans as set out by your line manager.

Field Sales Consultant – The Pub Team -Covering Reading,Gloucester, Oxford and Southampton

Up to £38,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus structure, excellent career development, company car or car allowance, discounted products and services and much more!

We are currently recruiting a talented and collaborative Field Sales Consultant to join our Pub Team in the Local Sector, which is currently growing year on year.

What you’ll be doing:

You will be primarily involved in driving new business within Leased & Tenanted pubs whilst looking after and developing a handful of key accounts.

• Winning new leased & tenanted customers for Brakes ensuring that they adhere to the minimum spend criteria
• Retaining & growing existing key customers
• Building strong relationships with our dedicated telephone account managers to manage leads
• Proactively work with the external Pub Co area managers to unearth new opportunities within their pub estate
• Identify any innovation and improvements to the L&T deal to further cement our position as the #1 foodservice wholesaler in the UK.
• Implement strategic territory plans as set out by your line manager.
