Job summary

Sysco GB is recruiting a Field Sales Consultant to join the Pub Team covering Reading, Gloucester, Oxford and Southampton. You will drive new business with leased & tenanted pubs while developing a handful of key accounts.

You will work with external Pub Co area managers to unearth opportunities and build strong relationships with our telephone account managers to manage leads, aiming to cement Sysco GB as the #1 foodservice wholesaler in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing customers – face to face or over the telephone.
• Ability to retain and grow accounts.
• Target-driven with proven achievement of targets.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint for planning.

Responsibilities

• Win new leased & tenanted customers for Brakes and meet minimum spend criteria.
• Retain and grow existing key customers.
• Build strong relationships with telephone account managers.
• Identify new opportunities within Pub Co estate with area managers.
• Implement territory plans set by management.

Field Sales Consultant – The Pub Team -Covering Reading,Gloucester, Oxford and Southampton

Up to £38,000 dependent on experience, plus bonus structure, excellent career development, company car or car allowance, discounted products and services and much more!

We are currently recruiting a talented and collaborative Field Sales Consultant to join our Pub Team in the Local Sector, which is currently growing year on year.

What you’ll be doing:

You will be primarily involved in driving new business within Leased & Tenanted pubs whilst looking after and developing a handful of key accounts.

• Winning new leased & tenanted customers for Brakes ensuring that they adhere to the minimum spend criteria


• Retaining & growing existing key customers


• Building strong relationships with our dedicated telephone account managers to manage leads


• Proactively work with the external Pub Co area managers to unearth new opportunities within their pub estate


• Identify any innovation and improvements to the L&T deal to further cement our position as the #1 foodservice wholesaler in the UK.


• Implement strategic territory plans as set out by your line manager.

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in managing customers – face to face or over the telephone


• Demonstratable knowledge of retention and growth of accounts.


• Target driven, proven experience of achieving targets.


• Proven experience with the use of Excel & Powerpoint to produce well organised planning in order to maximise selling time in trade


• Previous experience using Salesforce would be an advantage
