Job summary

Rentokil Initial plc is seeking an Initial Medical Field Sales Consultant for the Woodford area. You will manage your own schedule, visit customers in person, and sell medical and hazardous waste services while building lasting relationships.

Role involves daily travel, a competitive salary with London weighting, and ongoing training through our sales academy. Full-time, Monday to Friday with strong earning potential through bonuses and commissions.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for ≥2 years with ≤6 penalty points (as required).
• Self-motivated and target-driven with a proven track record.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Retail or sales background is advantageous for face-to-face customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Visit new and existing customers on a field basis to build relationships and sell medical and hazardous waste services.
• Manage new sales opportunities via inquiries and internal leads; develop long-term accounts.
• Travel domestically on a daily basis and maintain high customer satisfaction.

The Field Sales Consultant Role

In this field-based role, you’ll visit both new and existing customers, where you will be expected to build relationships and sell our medical and hazardous waste services. You will work closely with a portfolio of existing customers, alongside managing new sales opportunities via customer enquiries and internal leads.

As daily travel is required, you should be comfortable being on the move. Providing excellent customer service is essential to everything we do, and your efforts will be crucial in ensuring our customers are satisfied.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Self-motivated and target-driven.
• Excellent problem solver.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Background in retail or sales is advantageous as you will be expected to work face-to-face with customers regularly.
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for.
