Job summary

Premier Guarantee, part of the Munich Re group, is seeking a Risk Management Surveyor to perform site inspections and provide technical guidance on new-build and converted buildings across the UK. The role involves travel to multiple sites, ensuring alignment with the Technical Manual and Building Regulations.

You will plan and manage your workload autonomously, delivering practical, solution‑focused advice to developers and builders while contributing to high standards of safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in construction, surveying, inspection or similar technical role.
• RMS level 1,2 & 3, with progression to Chartered (Member) & Class 2b Competent under the Building Inspector Competency Framework.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site inspections and provide technical advice to support safe, compliant construction on projects.
• Inspect new-build and newly converted buildings, ensuring work aligns with Building Regulations and the Technical Manual.
• Record inspection findings and communicate outcomes clearly to customers and colleagues.
• Identify defects, maintain standards and support developers and builders with guidance.
