Job summary

Stannah in Ringwood seeks a Field Repair Manager to lead our Ringwood Service branch, driving operational performance and inspiring a skilled team of Lift Engineers and subcontractors. You will guide repairs across all makes/models, ensure safety standards, and travel regionally with a UK driving licence.

You’ll be based at the Ringwood Service Branch with a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and a company car or car allowance.

Qualifications

• Experience in lift industry or similar service industry.
• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering is required.
• Management qualifications would be desirable.
• Based at Ringwood with regular UK travel; driving licence essential.

Field Repair Manager Jobs in Ringwood at Stannah - Join Our Team!

We’re now looking for a Field Repair Manager to join our Ringwood Service branch management team—someone ready to drive operational performance, inspire a skilled workforce, and help us exceed our business goals.

In this role, you’ll lead a team of talented Lift Engineers and subcontractors, guiding them to deliver against our Major Repairs Plan objectives. Your remit will span across all makes and models of Lifts

You’ll be based at our Ringwood Service Branch, with regular travel across the Service Branch region. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 0800-1645 and Friday 0800-1545

Field Repair Manager Responsibilities:

• Efficiently plan engineer workloads including the allocation of repair works.
• Manage absence, performance, and appraisals for the team.
• Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures. Conduct risk assessments and method statements
• Carry out regular site monitoring
• Maintain relationships with customers, addressing any queries and complaints
• Previous experience working within the lift industry or similar service industry with transferable skills is essential
• Relevant management qualifications would be desirable
• Qualified to a minimum NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering
