Proactive Global is seeking a Field Project Manager to lead critical deployment projects across the UK and Ireland. The role requires coordinating engineering, operations, contractors, and project teams to ensure execution excellence from planning through handover.

The position involves large-scale automation and material handling projects, frequent travel, and extended onsite commitments. A strong background in project management and safety, with six sigma or lean experience, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
• Proven experience with Material Handling Equipment and large-scale technology projects.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel UK & Ireland.
• Six Sigma / Lean certification or practical experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead the onsite execution of engineering and infrastructure projects across multiple locations.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource planning.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and third-party vendors.
• Conduct site assessments and readiness reviews prior to project deployment.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, testing, and operational handover activities.
• Facilitate effective communication between project teams and operational stakeholders.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and governance requirements.
• Track budgets, project costs, and change control processes.
• Support project closeout activities, including lessons learned and final project documentation.
