Job Description:

We are currently working closely with a leading defence organisation who are looking for an FPGA Lead Designer to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position based on-site (hybrid).

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of talented engineers.
  • Taking technical lead on complex projects to ensure deliverables are met within deadlines.
  • Producing low-level software to facilitate testing and integration within embedded systems.
  • Creating high-standard design documents.

The successful candidate will have:

  • An Electrical/Electronics Engineering Degree (BSc / BEng / HND) or relevant experience.
  • Experience mentoring and leading teams.
  • Experience with VHDL, Simulink, Xilinx, ModelSim, and related tools.
  • Experience designing complex FPGA architectures.
  • Stakeholder management skills at multiple levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple technical projects concurrently.
  • Proficiency with low-level software (C).
