Job description

We are currently working closely with a leading organisation that is looking for an FPGA Designer / Lead FPGA Designer to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position based on-site in Stevenage.

About the Role:

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading a team of talented engineers.
  2. Taking technical lead on complex projects to ensure deliverables are met within deadlines.
  3. Producing low-level software to facilitate testing and integration within embedded systems.
  4. Creating high-standard design documentation.
Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have:

  1. An Electrical/Electronics Engineering Degree (BSc / BEng / HND) or relevant experience.
  2. Experience mentoring and leading teams.
  3. Experience with VHDL, Simulink, Xilinx, ModelSim, and related tools.
  4. Experience in developing complex FPGA architectures.
  5. Stakeholder management skills at multiple levels.
  6. Ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.
  7. Proficiency in low-level software development (C).
