Job summary

Alexander Associates seeks a hands-on Field Process Engineer to support commissioning, optimisation and performance of water and wastewater technologies across customer sites in the UK.

You will investigate process issues, analyse operational data and deliver practical, evidence-based solutions, with regular UK travel to customer sites and cross-functional collaboration with service, asset performance and remedial teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Process, Chemical, Environmental, Water Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in water or wastewater industry, preferably in treatment processes, commissioning, optimisation or troubleshooting.
• Confident analysing process data and diagnosing performance issues.
• Practical, analytical problem-solver who enjoys site work and collaboration with customers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical issues and workable solutions.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements; experience in operational or construction environments is advantageous.

This is a hybrid, field-based position requiring regular travel to customer sites across the UK, with occaional overnight or overseas travel.
