Job summary

National Grid Electricity Distribution is seeking a Team Leader at Weston-Super-Mare to supervise a Craft staff on a 12-month fixed term contract. The role focuses on running an efficient, compliant team across a region, coordinating work, and delivering against plans.

You will lead performance, ensure safety, training, authorisations, and address customer issues, with a starting salary of £45,492 rising to £49,369 after training, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing teams and driving performance.
• Excellent communicator with strong relationships.
• Ability to plan ahead and solve problems.
• Experience as escalation point for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to visit sites.
• Knowledge of Electricity Safety, Health & Safety Legislation, and Regulations.
• NRSWA desirable; training provided.
• Live within approximately 60 minutes of the depot.
