FIELD OPERATIONS MANAGER

The Role:

Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a hands-on, self-motivated Field Service Supervisor to lead service activities across multiple AD sites. This is a key role within our operations team, responsible for supervising on-site works, ensuring health and safety compliance, and supporting project delivery across maintenance and upgrade programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day service operations at multiple AD facilities
• Oversee field technicians and contractors to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
• Support maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting of AD plant equipment
• Assist in project planning and delivery for upgrades, refurbishments, and installations
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards and site-specific protocols
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to communicate progress and resolve issues
• Complete accurate reporting, documentation, and service records

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in a supervisory or senior technician role within Anaerobic Digestion or a related renewable energy sector
• Experience in Engineering (Holding a NVQ Level 3 or above)
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel regularly to sites across the region

Desirable Qualifications:

• Project management experience (formal qualifications beneficial)
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification
• Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems
• Experience with process optimisation and plant performance monitoring
