Job summary

Edina, a leading international power generation specialist, seeks an Operations Engineer to join our Bedford team on a full-time basis. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on installations, diagnose issues, and implement reactive maintenance to ensure reliability and client satisfaction.

You should have ONC/NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Level 2 in mechanical/electrical engineering (or equivalent), at least three years’ industrial experience, knowledge of gas/diesel engines, a

Qualifications

ONC/NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Level 2 in mechanical/electrical engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum three years' industrial mechanical and/or electrical experience.
Knowledge of gas/diesel engines.
Full, valid driving licence.
Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on installations across Bedford and surrounding area.
Diagnose faults and perform reactive maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction.
Oversee and optimise operational processes to improve productivity and reduce waste of time and materials.
