Job summary

Wolverhampton Homes Ltd is seeking a skilled Advanced Multiskilled Operative (AMO) to perform repairs across at least three core trades, including bricklaying, carpentry, plastering, and plumbing. The role is based in Wolverhampton and involves field work with a standard 37‑hour week and a permanent contract.

Applicants should hold City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in at least one trade, with broad experience across three trades, a valid UK manual driving licence, and a customer‑focused,

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying, Carpentry, Plastering or Plumbing.
• Wide‑ranging experience across at least three core trade areas.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, plan workload and meet deadlines.
• Committed to customer satisfaction and delivering quality work.
• Valid manual UK driving licence.
• Willing to undertake further training and maintain accreditations.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality work right first time with minimal disruption to customers.
• Keeping customers informed and delivering excellent service.
• Working safely, following procedures and minimising risks.
• Accurately completing job records using digital systems.
• Supporting apprentices and trainees when required.
• Maintaining van stock and using tools, materials and equipment responsibly.
