Job summary

MSV Housing is seeking skilled Multi Skilled Operatives to deliver repairs and maintenance across domestic and commercial properties. Reporting to the Repairs Team Leader, you will handle carpentry, minor plumbing, plastering, tiling, and painting tasks while upholding safety and high customer service standards.

Ideal candidates will have a trade qualification or substantial related experience, a full UK driving licence, and comfort using digital systems to record work and manage jobs.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Craft qualification or NVQ Level 2 in a relevant trade (or significant equivalent practical experience)
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North West
• Experience delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance work within agreed timescales
• Experience working collaboratively as part of a busy, multi-disciplinary team
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills and commitment to delivering outstanding service
• Confidence using digital devices and systems to record work activities and manage jobs
• Flexible, reliable and self-motivated with a commitment to safety, professionalism and MSV's values

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain a wide range of building components and fixtures (carpentry, doors, windows, kitchens, fencing, roofing)
• Carry out multi-skilled maintenance works (minor plumbing, plastering, tiling, brickwork, decorating)
• Deliver high-quality work safely, comply with health and safety procedures and regulations
• Provide excellent customer service by liaising with residents and completing work within timescales and budgets
• Manage materials, equipment and company vehicles, maintain records, and support apprentices
