Job summary

Essex County Council seeks a Mobile Digital Support Analyst to provide hands-on technical support across South Essex. The role includes working from Basildon, with a company van provided to travel between sites and support approximately 9,000 users and devices.

Qualifications

• Educated to A Level or equivalent.
• ITIL Practitioner level accreditation or equivalent.
• Experience in a User Support/Service Desk role, preferably in a large Local Authority or with a Service Provider.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex incidents and coordinate resolution to restore services quickly.
• Document and close incidents, capturing lessons for service improvement.
• Provide effective interface between users and service providers, including external suppliers.
