Job summary

AB Agri / National Milk Records is seeking an Area Coordinator (Maternity cover) to deliver a full milk recording service across Devon. You will visit farms, collect event data, and update the NMR database, including taking milk samples as needed and coordinating the robot shuttle service.

The role requires self-motivation, excellent time management, and teamwork, with a valid UK driving licence and early-morning flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering milk recording services.
• Regular farm visits to collect event data.
• Ability to work early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for data collection and entry into a custom-built software package.
• Coordinate the collection of milk samples from individual cows on farms.
• Organise and train self-employed samplers to take milk samples.
• Transport sample boxes/shuttles.
• Complete NMR robot shuttle recording.
• Ensure an excellent standard of data quality.
