Job summary

M Group Energy is seeking a Meter Reader to install, read and manage meters across the UK. You will work outdoors, typically 40 hours a week, following a structured training program before fieldwork, and you’ll sign in to a handheld device each day to plan your route.

You must be self-motivated, able to walk miles daily, and pass screening and DBS checks. A full UK driving licence is preferred, with London exceptions noted.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (Not required in London).
• Ability to walk several miles every day.
• Able to pass screening and vetting standards, provide 5 years employment history and pass DBS check.
• Self-motivated and energetic, comfortable working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Read meters and record information accurately.
• Plan routes using handheld device and work independently.
• Ensure safety for yourself and customers in all conditions.
• Provide excellent customer service while in the field.
