Job summary

Gi Group UK is hiring Meter Readers across the UK. No experience required, full training provided. The role involves collecting data from gas, electricity and water meters at commercial and residential sites, updating reads on a handheld device, and delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll work with flexible hours, have a chance for progression, and receive a company car and pension. Ideal candidates will hold a manual UK driving licence (1–6 points), be physically fit, and pass DBS and

Qualifications

• Minimum one year UK driving licence with 1–6 points.
• Customer service experience is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily route.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve data from water, gas and electricity meters for various sites.
• Carry out visual inspections of metering equipment.
• Update meter reads on handheld device and record details.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients on site.
• Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines at all times.
