Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a field-based Meter Reader in the Brighton area. You will start in a training environment, then move out into the field to read meters, plan routes, and log data on a handheld device.

Your day involves walking or driving between properties, delivering excellent customer service while maintaining safety and efficiency. We value self-motivation and the ability to work independently, rain or shine.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience (no minimum requirement)
• Excellent communication skills
• Full UK driving licence (Not required in London)
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in an independent role
• Ability to walk several miles every day
• Able to pass screening, vetting and DBS checks

Responsibilities

• Plan daily routes and start your day ready for fieldwork
• Read meters and record information accurately on a handheld device
• Deliver first-class customer service at every property
• Work independently, facing varying weather and outdoor conditions
• Travel by walking or driving to properties while ensuring safety
