Job summary
Veolia in Chesterfield is looking for a mechanical technician to service and repair dewatering equipment across multiple sites. You will join a small team, performing inspections, tests and routine maintenance to keep assets operating reliably.
The role offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with some standby, overtime and travel as required. We provide 25 days of annual leave, a company pension, health benefits and ongoing training to help you reach your full potential.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence held and valid.
- Experience in industrial environment or qualified in mechanical engineering.
- Willingness to standby cover and occasional overtime.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a small team on multiple sites.
- Assist inspections, services and repairs of dewatering equipment.
- Assist with plant modifications and pipework installations as required.
- Complete test reports and installation certificates for customers.
