Job summary

Veolia Dewatering and Maintenance Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support water company wastewater sites. The role suits existing field service engineers seeking new challenges, offering a 40-hour week, a company vehicle and Veolia benefits.

You'll work as part of a small team across multiple sites in the South of England, performing asset overhauls, repairs and installations, with standby, travel, and rigorous safety standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience required.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and problem-solving ability.
• Willingness to travel across South England and work at multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out complex asset overhauls and replacements.
• Undertake mechanical repairs and modifications to dewatering equipment, pumps and valves.
• Carry out inspections, services and repairs to customers’ dewatering assets.
• Perform pipework installations using plastics, stainless steel and mild steel.
