Job summary

Veolia Dewatering and Maintenance Solutions invites a Mechanical Engineer to join a proactive team working on water company wastewater sites. This field-based role suits engineers seeking new challenges, with opportunities for training and development.

You will perform complex asset overhauls, repairs and pipework installations, ensuring energy-efficient operation and minimal downtime while working across multiple sites and occasionally away from home.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 apprenticeship in mechanical maintenance.
• Full UK Driving Licence essential.
• Hands-on maintenance experience on mechanical assets.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team on dewatering equipment on wastewater sites.
• Carry out asset overhauls and replacements, repairs and modifications.
• Complete tests, certificates and customer paperwork on site.
• Liaise with on-site customers and be the first point of contact.

Education

NVQ or Level 3 apprenticeship in mechanical engineering maintenance

Full UK Driving Licence

Hands-on engineering maintenance experience
