Job summary

Sitech Technology Systems Ltd in the UK is seeking a Field based Machine Control Engineer to perform on-site installations of Trimble hardware and calibrate machine control systems on various heavy equipment. You will diagnose issues, provide on-site support, and train operators to ensure accurate performance.

Qualifications

• College or vocational qualification in Mechanical, Hydraulics or Electronic or similar engineering
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical issues on heavy equipment
• Familiarity with machine control systems on construction equipment

Responsibilities

• Installation – on-site installation of SITECH/Trimble equipment across OEMs and customers.
• Service – maintenance, call-outs, troubleshooting and support on SITECH/Trimble equipment.
• Measure & calibration – calibration of machine control equipment in-field.
• Operations – assist with planning and delivering installations and field operations.
• Training – provide operator training on system use and operation.
• Self-management – document activity to high standards and report to team leaders.
• Remote/national coverage with occasional stays away from home.
